Destiny 2 Hack The Planet
Destiny 2 - Hack the Planet
Destiny 2 Hack The Planet Bug
Hack the Planet is a mid-level Adventure, and can be found on the planet Nessus.
Prerequisites: Complete Looped and Six Recommended power: 90 Reward: Rare (Blue) loot.
Here's what you need to do to complete the Hack the Planet Adventure and tackle the Network Cyclops:
Connect Failsafe - Head for the three marked locations and plant the beacons - starting with the one to the south minimises backtracking. There's a Public Event that spawns near here, and it's impossible to avoid getting caught up in it if it's active so watch your step.
Unlock Nessus Core - Follow the waypoints, clear out the Vex around the Core, and then interact with it.
Connect Failsafe to Nessus - Climb up the stone structure and make a leap of faith through the glowing ring to reach the device.
Stabilize Conflux - Shoot the five glowing orange cubes that appear around you, but don't get too close - they pack quite a punch when they explode.
Stabilize Conflux - Head for the marker and take out more cubes until you hit 100%. There's another Public Event spawn here to complicate matters.
Collect Mind core - A Network Minotaur will spawn nearby. He's a bit of a tank, and every time you knock his health down by a third he'll teleport to a new location and need chasing down. When he falls, grab the item he drops.
Rescue Failsafe - Follow the markers through the teleport and make your way through the tunnel.
Stabilize Confluxes - This can be done either by shooting the cubes that appear around the room, standing next to the Confluxes for a few seconds, or a combination of both. Standing near the Confluxes is quicker, but there are Vex wandering around the area so standing still can be risky.
Release Failsafe - There's a large Network Cyclops guarding Failsafe. Fire off a few shots, and when its health reaches two thirds it'll surround itself with a large stack of cubes, a fatal mistake - back off and shoot one of them to set off a chain reaction that'll take it out instantly.
Season of Arrivals has introduced new Exotics, including Traveler's Chosen and Ruinous Effigy, as well as new Powerful and Pinnacle Gear sources. Elsewhere in Year 3 we saw the introduction of Armor 2.0 and K1 Logistics, K1 Revelation, K1 Crew Quarters and K1 Communion locations. There are also several new weapon quests, including the Deathbringer quest, Divinity quest, Leviathan's Breath quest and Xenophage quest. We also have a list of our best Destiny 2 weapons recommendations, which includes Jotunn and Le Monarque.
Destiny 2 - Deep Conversation
Deep Conversation is a mid-level Adventure, and can also be found on the planet Nessus.
Here's what you need to do to complete the Deep Conversation Adventure and tackle the Network Mind:
Scan Vex Caches - Some mysterious floating platforms have appeared. Jump onto the first one and interact with the ball in the middle - the floor will become electrified, so jump to avoid taking too much damage but don't jump too high as you need to remain close to the ball. Repeat this process for the two remaining platforms.
Scan Vex Cache - Return to land, head up the slope, and jump across the small floating platforms to reach another Vex cache. This one deals more of a shock than the others, so be extra careful.
Kill Vex to gather Collective Data - Vex will spawn on the nearby platforms, and will drop items when killed. Try not to kill any that are stood too close to the edge as they'll drop their item over the side prolonging the process, and watch out for the floors becoming electrified.
Scan Vex Cache - Head up to the next large platform and interact with it as before - you'll want to clear out a few Vex as soon as you arrive, and again the floor itself will pose a challenge; we'd recommend waiting for it to be safe before jumping on to it, clearing out the Vex, jumping back to the previous platform and waiting for it to charge and discharge again, then return to make your scan.
Kill the Mind - This can be a battle of attrition - the Network Mind has a rotating shield so your window of attack is limited, there are other Vex attacking you, even the ground has it in for you, and if you miss a jump it's a long climb back to the top. You'll need to constantly move between the Mind's platform and the previous one to have somewhere safe to stand, but depending on luck you may have to make several traversals before you can get any hits in on your target so we'd recommend prioritising staying alive and just being patient.
With that, you're all done! Head back to our hub for Destiny 2 Adventures if you're looking for more on these.
In Destiny 2's latest expansion, Shadowkeep, Eris Morn makes her return from Destiny. Now she's haunted by nightmares from her past. In the Luna's Calling quest series, you'll be solving puzzles, collecting powerful gear, and easing a former Guardian's endless burden.
Here's how to start and complete each step in Luna's Calling.
Two important things of note: Luna's Calling is a weekly quest with different requirements for each step. This article will be updated with new steps as they become available. You'll also need to finish Shadowkeep's main storyline to begin Luna's Calling.
The Bounty
To start the first quest in Luna's Calling, you need to pick up the Lunar Spelunking bounty from Eris on the Moon. You'll be directed to explore three separate Lost Sectors on the Moon.
Be aware that enemies in each Moon Lost Sector have a higher Power Level than you're likely to possess immediately after finishing the campaign. The three Lost Sector, their locations, and their associated Power are:
K1 Communion in the Anchor of Light: Power 860.
K1 Crew Quarters in the Hellmouth: Power 880.
K1 Logistics in Archer's Line: Power 870.
Here's a map showing each Lost Sector:
The Data Fragment
Once you complete the above three Lost Sectors, you'll receive the Firewall Data Fragment. Now, your next step in Luna's Calling is to enter K1 Revelation in Sorrows Harbor. You'll need a Power level approaching 890 to traverse it safely.
Once inside, you don't have to kill anything. Instead, all you need to do is reach the boss arena and enter the pipe behind him. You'll find a door you can now open with the Data Fragment.
In the next room, you'll see a console with a glowing orange ring. Press and hold your Interact button ('Square' on PS4, 'X' on Xbox One, and 'E' by default on PC), and you'll deposit the Data Fragment.
After depositing, you'll receive the Memory of Sai Mota quest.
The Sequence
All current evidence suggests Eris' memory pursuits (of which Memory of Sai Mota is the first) will have similar steps. Once you complete all the steps, you'll return to the Sanctuary fast travel point and enter the green portal to reach Eris in the Enduring Abyss.
Below is our list of each quest's requirements and two good ways of accomplishing each.
Memory of Sai Mota
This quest requires you to collect 20 Necklace Fragments by killing Nightmare enemies with Arc abilities. These abilities include:
Your melee when it's off cooldown
Any Nightmare kill with your grenade
Any kill with an Arc-based Super
Powerful enemies (Ogres, yellow-bar Wizards, bosses, etc.) grant 3 Fragments, rank and file Nightmares (Acolytes, Thrall, etc.) grant 2. Be aware you need to be the one to hit the killing blow with your abilities for quest credit.
Farming Method 1: Patrol Sorrow's Harbor, as Nightmare Ogres and associated Acolytes and Thrall will spawn around you reasonably regularly. Use everything at your disposal to kill as many nightmares as you can.
Farming Method 2: Head back into the K1 Revelation Lost Sector and rush to the boss area. You'll need to kill two yellow-bar Wizard Nightmares to spawn the boss. Between 2 and 4 Acolyte Nightmares will spawn with him. Kill all of them, fast travel to Sorrow's Harbor, and do it again.
Memory of Vell Tarlowe
After the week's reset, and provided you've completed the Memory of Sai Mota quest, speak to Eris, and you'll receive the Memory of Vell Tarlowe quest.
The first step is to complete that week's replayable story mission. You don't need to complete any specific mission, only the one selectable from the Moon map.
Once you've completed the mission, the grind commences.
For this quest, you'll need to collect Mark Fragments by killing Nightmares in Nightmare Hunts with melee abilities. You don't have to have your ability off cooldown for the kill to count. All you need is to make the killing blow with your melee attack.
There is no good farming method for this quest. Your best bet is to gather a fireteam and ask them to give you every Nightmare kill they can.
If you're a solo player, this one might be a slog. Try to enter the team chat channel (voice or text as available) and ask your teammates for help.
This step will take you a few hunts, but if you're efficient, no more than 3 or 4.
Memory of Toland, the Shattered
The third step in Luna's Calling is to construct a notebook from the insane Warlock Toland, the Shattered. Your first step is to find and kill the Trove Guardian Knight enemy who spawns across the moon. Depending on the day, he'll be in either Archer's Line, Anchor of Light, and the Hellmouth.
For a detailed rundown of where to find him, check out my How to Find the Trove Guardian guide.
The short version is, you'll need to find the Guardian, kill him, go through a short jumping puzzle, and open a chest. The chest will give you the Toland, the Shattered's Notes quest item, opening up step 2 of the quest.
For part 2, you'll need to use Hive Relic Sword weapons to defeat any enemy combatant. Your best farming method is Escalation Protocol. Just jump in and make it to the Shadowrift phase, then use the sword to kill the endless Hive that spawn. Soon enough you'll grab the Quest step.
Once you've got Toland, the Shattered's Journal, head to Eris on the Moon in her usual spot.
Memory of Omar Agah
For week 4 of Luna's Calling, you'll be completing the Memory of Omar Agah quest, which consists of the following steps:
Defeat a powerful Hive Wizard with your Super anywhere in the system with
Land precision kills with Bows or Sniper Rifles against powerful opponents to collect Throwing Knives
For the first part of the quest, you can defeat any yellow bar wizard on any planet in the system. The easiest and most consistent way to do this is to head to the Methane Flush Lost Sector on Titan and kill the boss inside.
Be sure you get the final blow with your super or you won't progress the quest. Use a roaming super like Dawnblade, Golden Gun, or Fist of Havoc for best results.
For the next step in the quest, you need to collect Throwing Knives by defeating powerful opponents with Bows and Sniper Rifles. There are a few ways to farm the 20 knives you need: Guardian kills in PvP, Escalation Protocol, or the spawn area on the vanilla Leviathan Raid.
PvP activities — Gambit and Crucible — guarantee progress, but you'll still need to get 20 kills with Bows or Sniper Rifles. The former are a little inconsistent, and if your aim is lacking, the latter can be a bit of an ask.
We recommend sticking to PvE activities. Fly to Mars and boot up Escalation Protocol for a good powerful farm, as any orange or yellow bar enemy has a fair chance of dropping the Knives you need.
If you aren't a fan of the chaos of the Mars event, load into a fresh (non-checkpointed) instance of the base Leviathan Raid. You'll be greeted by 6 stationary orange bar Cabal Legionaries. You can reload the instance as many times as you need, which probably won't be more than 5 or 6 runs.
Once you're done, head back to Eris to collect your reward.

And that's how you complete the Luna's Calling memory pursuit each week in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep.Spine professional crack.
